Organizers aiming to reschedule the event within the weather window on another venue.
MESTIA, Georgia – February 22, 2025: The FIS Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance has postponed the Georgia Pro after extensive efforts to secure the competition face and ensure safe riding conditions.
Recent stabilization work on the Kaseb face triggered significant sliding, rendering it unsuitable for competition. As a result, organizers have decided to relocate the event to an alternative venue.
The competition will be rescheduled within the existing weather window, running from February 23 to March 1, with the new date to be announced at least two days in advance.
Competition to be held at a new venue
With Kaseb no longer an option, FWT organizers are working to identify a new competition face that meets both safety and performance standards. Once a suitable venue is confirmed, the competition date will be announced two days in advance (Day -2).
FWT remains committed to delivering a high-level freeride event while prioritizing the safety of athletes, staff, and spectators. The team continues to closely monitor weather and snow conditions to determine the best opportunity for competition.
Stay Updated
The Georgia Pro will take place as soon as conditions allow. Further updates will be provided via www.freerideworldtour.com and FWT’s social media channels.
